I remember that night
weary of your silence

Curious I became
Yet remained silent myself
I wondered

were you indifferent
or simply afraid

Afraid of me?

Call it fate
or divine intervention

But I remember

And when I met you
I met myself

It's hard to bide our time in silence.
Somewhere in between lies one of our many virtues.  uh huh!

Liked this littlewing, nice picture too.

Sue, you have an amazing way of writing
your feelings down in your poetry. I could
almost hear the silence with you.

Littlewing, this is truly a really good write.

"And when I met you
I met myself"

One of the best line's I've read here in a while.

if youre talking about the big man in the sky, this is cool for you.,

if its about a mortal, man, i know the feeling, but its scary to give a MAN so much importance aint, it girl? like when they blow you little world apart, and you get experienced........
