The Piper

I cannot yet decipher.
The playing of the piper
The subtlety that leads me on
That drives me to the sea and gone.

I cannot break the flow and trance.
Or stop the madness of my dance.
The drumbeat stays within my chest.
I march along with all the rest.

And though I sense that it is wrong.
Yet here I am and march along.
It seems there is a fate to fill.
And I am here to pay the bill.

The echoes sound around the bend.
I smell the sea I smell the end.
I cry and scream and rage and sigh
But cannot say it’s all a lie.

So hold my hand and I’ll hold yours.
The cause goes on without a pause.

Because you pay him in wisdom rhymes divine ...
the piper presents poets with a little more time.
He tells me he digs your closing couplets of cool ...
says you teach the rule, that piper aint no fool.

(sigh) Oh Seymour, yes, if you take that hand and let the message vibrate, you can chase all the cobras away and never again will that bill have to be paid when you are dancing in thin air! (big hugggssssss) I love this, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Good morning, Mr. T.!

I believe that you march to the tune of your own drum, not Peter Piper's!--and its tune is sublime!

I am reaching my hand out to you from across the miles...

Have a glorious day marching!

Warm morning hugs,
EA

Sy,

I like the entire poem and the message as noted above, but I like the second stanza the most...the motion of it...

Enjoyed greatly, Pat
