I've never been religious can't quote scripture from my head.
Will tell you that the Bible is a book I've never read.

But know that Jesus loves me, it's a song I learned to sing.
And know that in this whole round world, there is but one true King.

I've lived my life a sinner, done some things that bring me shame.
But know that all's forgiven, if I ask it in his name.

Hind sights 20/20 and there have been times in my life.
I should've fallen to my knees under weight of all that strife.

But He saw fit to lift the weight and send me on my way.
It's with God's gentle wisdom that I made it to this day.

And knowing this I humbly send my thanks to God above.
That He saw fit to touch this life with patience and His love

Lucie:  I think you have said it all.  If you put your heart and soul in his hands, you have inner strength to help you live under any condition. Very nicely done.

This is a most wonderful write Lucie. But what is better yet is the peace you found in God. Stay close to Him and you will never go wrong. Lovely poem. From the heart. floria
