as the light of early dawn comes
breaching the gloss black night
in her eyes dance miracles
of life from nightime dreaming

while slowly waking she whispers
a breeze that passes through treetops
swaying down to their roots
with the rythym of rebirth

in her hands the sun opens up
casting through radiant fingertips
the touch of warmth and the strength
to help us through another day

A real man

kisses his children goodnight

JamesBowie...this is incredibly beautiful and very well-written besides. I love the image of the Sun flowing through her fingertips.  ****Ivy Rose
