Beneath the moon two loves shatter
as pieces of two hearts scatter
And a whisper now become naught
for love lost and not again sought.

Beneath the stars a friendship falls
as lovers look beyond the ball
and life becomes a teary place
as rains again fall, streak a face.

Before the mome' of decision
thoughts being made in precision
Love walking sadly out both hearts
as two are none, and one love parts

A love being left to softly grieve
to wipe a nose upon a sleave
A love departs on soft white wings
as departing sighs in ear rings.

I leave my heart within the jar
of sadness taken away from afar
I leave my soul to rest in this
as I blow to you a last kiss.

Magnus,
has the moonlight crept into your soul this night. This poem is lustrous in its unshed tears.

If only promises weren't so cheap and vows so easily dismissed...love could never be lost if it were given in true bonds. But alas, the way of the world is to break and shatter and we are none the wiser eh?

Excellent piece of work.

Kelley...love isn't always as soft and kind
as it is wanted to be....sometimes it must
be as it is....Fortunately....I have love..
and my poetry is just that...reflections
and poetry..  Thank You....

(sad sigh) This is soooooo heartbreaking, sweet friend, my heart goes out to all the broken-hearted lovers in the world and I pray that each one of them will be greeted by a loving heart that will whisdper to them all "Don't worry, I have your moon shining bright again, and will love you forever and nurture its warmth!". (big hugggsssss) This is so sadly beautiful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Your muse shined their light on you with this lovely verse.  Well done.
