Shades of Hue

There are shades of hue running true
That stays with us our merry way.
By echoes and reflections hue.
They live in shadows of our day.

They’re the essence of our burr
A factor of each living cell
The DNA of character
And secret world in which we dwell

They are the mist and dark of night
And the mystery of our blind
They’re the fantasies of our light
And the wiles and dreams of our mind

The energies of make believe
The filigrees just out of reach
The very phantoms we conceive
The very fabric of our breach

And there’s no one outside this mold
In constant search this inner gold.

but ... with some they broke the mold
and some are spun with a brighter hue of gold.

...they are the spirals in the swirl
twirling lines within the burl
...the magnet of the heart's escape
a place where I would hang my cape...

thank you, Sy...

Sy,
when you write deep, your poems I'll keep.  You write deep ocean blue in its true hue.

JM,
Good morning my Tink
What brash is on the brink?
Shall we write of love across the high
Or ride my dragon beyond the sky.
