He said "Your a butterfly
who is just learning to fly,
why don't you spread your wings
won't you please give it a try?"

She was so timid and frail
filled with so much fear,
and though she desired to
she could not,she shed a tear.

"I don't have it's strength
nor do I have it's grace"
she whispered softly
as tears rolled down her face.

He loved her so much
but couldn't make her see
she only need spread her wings
for her heart held the key.

In the passing of time
she broke out of her cocoon
like the birth of a springtime
their love was in full bloom.

They lived out their years
until the end of her days
the last words she heard
" I love you my butterfly...
in peace....fly away.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.
~Me~
