fossil
(c)2001 Night Hawke

pressed in negative
relief
adamantine walls
etch away
the remaining
details of time
the cavity of
once was
sifted
sand

the half life
of evil
spun
three hundred
thirty three
and I am
the last minaret

the last shard

the last
leaves blown away
save the tracings
of six year olds

as am I
excluding
children's eyes
where I am
less mortal

Thank you for another fantastic read, LR!! If you kept em coming every day, I would live at peace in this world.

Live today as if it's your last.  Love today as if it's your first.   Lisa
