I will never love another, no one, ever again.

This she said to me, the sadness etched in her face.
Surely she will, if only she will open her eyes.
For the gaze will show her the way to mine own.

Leave me now, let me be free, I cannot love.

Oh the sadness of these words, the heart quaking.
If only she would open her ears
My voice would flow over her as
water flowing over smooth timeless rock

No, I will not, my sadness too deep to be swayed

Again I plead to her, for her selfishness hides her.
Lady dear, you of the golden hair and fair skin.
Allow me but one night to show you my love.
For within mine own arms you will feel peace.

I have lost the only true love, I will to die.

Oh dearest belle, cannot your heart feel mine?
Will I have to wrest it from mine own chest?
This man is true, my heart beats for only you.
I shall gouge out my eyes if I cannot see your own.

Why is it you do feel this way, who am I to you?

Love of my eyes, my soul, can you not look upon your face?
The reflection of purity and elegance smiles at you.
Your image is from the clouds above, sculpted by the gods.
I will take you there,   and then you will see..
For I love you my dear, eternity awaits us now.

True...I was watching a movie on TV and
this young beautiful woman lost her love
to the crusades,  (He left)...she vowed
to never love again...It inspired me to
write this.  I could have taken it a
different direction,  but felt this was OK.

Thanx JM

It was an excellent choice .... your direction is well done.

Only eternity can hold such undying love.

ok?  ok?  This is fabulous. I love to be inspired also and movies are a great way of having that happen. I loved it!

Somehow this seemed very familiar...perhaps I am getting used to your way of writing, but either way...

I enjoyed...
