Leonid fires

Curious, the sounds
of shadows dancing
in the pale
of a slivered moon

unnoticed rhymes this
star chilled night
unseen in
a quiet breeze

yet warmed by
Leonid fires
and hearts’ desires

across the skies
of what might
be

I may have missed Leonid's shower, but I'm not missing this poem...it's going to be saved. (We had a major cloud cover the other night...no shooting stars, SHOOT!)
