She walks coyly into the room
And thinks for a moment of the time when she was truly tormented
by her actions so awful that slapped her brusquely on the face.
For her mind was a maze of uncertainties had she made the right
choice in taking someone’s heart and ripping it out of their chest.

She approaches the person sitting by the bar
With eyes somber questioning herself and the expression on his face
She sits and speaks justifications.
He impulsively kisses her on the forehead with a joy that he can’t express
Hugs her and demonstrates that she is forgiven and that everything is forgotten.

She stands and whispers in his ear
I love you.
And with a small pool of tears in his eyes
He says I love you too.

She turns around and walks away
Leaving the man alone and perplexed.
As she distance herself from him her mind starts to wonder again had she done the
Right thing? After all her actions were speaking volumes
But her mind was a sea of uncertainty.

And what does the action say? That all is forgiven and the love is strong? or I love you too but you aren't forgiven? or I forgive you and love you but I'm leaving anyway? Maybe the confusion warrants not adding any more "action" to the scene? Lots to think about here, a good pondering write.

(sigh) Such a bittersweet poem with much confusion of emotion and affection! (sigh) My heart goes out to you and him that this bewilderment can be replaced by understanding of true love! (sigh) So sad but well-written, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
