I know that most people here either don't know me or remember me, but I have been in, out and around for a long time and I just thought that I would in usual fashion drop off a piece. Tell me what you think.

Here's to well dressed men in suits of gold
To ladies in hats looking fly on a Saturday night
To children who still try to stay up past bedtime just so that they can catch the end of their favorite show or even Santa
Here's to days that never seem to end and nights that aren't worth spit
To women who have learned the fine art of keeping their legs closed to save us all from overpopulating the Earth
Here's to the past--the present--the future
To economy as we watch it rise and fall and rise again
To growing up, but never really growing up;it's like a secret gift we give to ourselves
Here's to loud laughter at not so funny jokes
To being real and staying strong through everything that has happened and through everything that will happen
To loving ourselves and loving each other the only way that we know how
Here's to everything that makes me--me and everything that makes you--you
To not loosing ourselves in "too many moments"
To remembering others in their times of need
Here's one for you and you and you
Sit back with me
Whether it be beer, wine, or grape juice
Toast with me
Toast and say thanks for everything

To the library....This one too, will grace my Thanksgiving table. Thank you much, Ladycat! Imagine the day, poetry, football and too much to eat....lol
