Echoes From The Past

A fantasy or myth they say,
this place that never was
Can we still find the key today,
that we may know the cause

A land ahead of it's own time,
set within the ocean
Isle that's written up in rhyme,
causing such emotion

Island of Atlantis the name,
so Plato's records tell
Strange machines were their claim to fame,
until the island fell

Now hid beneath the ocean deep,
buried the fine treasure
The seas it's mystery will keep,
valued beyond measure

I gaze on ancient wonders, vast,
majestic pillars gleam
While hearing echoes from the past
revealing hidden dream

That first stanza is a beauty, starry one.

....and you followed it with excellence.

well dang.
and here after King of Stone, i had been thinking about writing about the fall of Atlantis...
but having been upstaged in such a stylish, if unintentional way, i think i'll just figger out something else to scribble about.
beautiful writing, Star.
