Weeping Willow

Bent and spent under the myriad children of her arms
The weeping willow chants the beauty of her charms
Painting with sweeping arcs of brush, her art
With the graceful lower tips of her parts.

And music plays with the touching of the ground
Mystic heavy bevies of the sounding surround
And only the weeping willow can augment the dance
Of the silent symphony that the wind blows by chance

Staging and stirring in the bending of her parts
The silent lullabies of the weeping of her heart
Voiced by desire and the twirling of her young.
Till the whole of the choir, sings, what should be song?

Gracefully she bends and titillates the earth
Saucy sweeping springing off the center of her girth
Shadows swooning in the silver flaunt of moon
Flutters all her children like the courting of a loon.

The will-o-the wisp of illusions mellow
In awe I watch the weeping of the willow.

"will o-the wisp" is one of my favorite expressions, I haven't heard this in a very long time. And willow ....God, I loved this poem. Thanks, Sy!

The willow has a special song
that she leaves behind
one that layers gently upon
my soft and fragile mind...

JM,
Your flattery serves me breakfast, lunch and dinner. And would you please join me for some raspberry tea in the secrets of our minds. Love to me was always such a strong word, but it weakens and lacks when I think of you. WW S

Such a beautiful poem, And now I feel I want to apply it to the loss of George Harrison , and hear his guitar weep under the willow.
Sigh..
This is a very touching poem, Sy. Glad to have found it.
