It's Not Written In The Stars There isn't anything in writing that I must be behind your door It's the power of your heart that keeps me coming back Some days I want to run as fast as I can to you Like in slow motion it seems I'm finally where I'm at... It's not written in the stars that I must stand before you It's the power of your voice that draws me to what I call home And, still some days I want to run as fast as I possibly can Like in slow motion though I hurry to be anywhere but alone... No where does it say I can't look into your eyes and in a good way sigh Not even the stars would disagree with that Believe me when I say I want to run so quickly there Like in slow motion I'm given what I never had... There's no record of promise or sign by hand that says I can't love you And, still cross no boundaries or any given lines It certainly isn't written in the stars at all That I can't hold onto you all of the time... I swear are the words but still I can come into your room And, I take in what no ones ever cared to ever do So, in those stars I have no doubt they'll frown When I can't help myself from missing you... It's not written in the stars that I can't say what all I hold here inside But, does it really matter when a certain boundary lies? I don't know how thoughts continue to keep me wanting to say more But, can I help it if I just want to run right to your door... *Sauni* Sauni @~~~>~~ |

you are beautiful! wow. so is your poem.. yes.. i agree that nothing is truly etched in stone to happen.. that true affection for another cannot be restricted by boundaries of any kind for it always remains and lies within the heart and soul. beautiful writing |
