 Wish Of Star~*Marge Tindal*~  She hung so low in morning sky I touched her with my wishing sigh Down she fell to sob upon my shoulder in the early dawn Why do you not continual rise across the sky of wish-upon ? 'I am so heavy with wishes I can't fulfill I need a heart to wish me on' 'Sometimes a little star, you see carries so many wishes from those who would suppose she could grant them all and when a star can't - a star will fall Shooting across an ebony sky falling full-of-wishes dying' I stroked her pale of twinkle and offered up my heart She made a wish on me you see and grew in glowing depart I heard her whisper soft in ear ~ 'Heart bright, heart bright ... first heart I see at close of night I wish I may - I wish you might grant this star an upward flight' Slow her swell of light grew bright off she lifted to the coming next night Winking back to find that I wished her only - continued fly ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Marge, do you believe in signs? I was thinking tonight of something I really want and then saw a falling star. Next I read this lovely poem...hmmm...I wonder. Dee I wish you every happiness and may you always have the best of the good things in life. a brand |
