Listening to every heart

Holding the Day

the leaves are in shadow, cast
soft away as day thus fades
but I’m held in memories fast
seen rich in love’s silk brocade
for arms around me bear me well
he counts every breath I breathe
as loving hearts shall thus then swell
my love, he shall not leave

Oh but this spoke to me, and of a higher love, thank you for this one.
