Somewhere Into Tomorrow

There is no cure for how I feel.
I could follow the path of the sun, or
reach for the diamonds of the night,
but they would all lead me to the shape of you.
For I am a dreamer, and embrace love
somewhere between Heaven and Earth.
If I had one more day, I'd wish to walk
hand in hand, spending it in love,
gathering all it's moments in a bouquet
to take me somewhere into tomorrow.

I'd want to steal kisses, from your lips
that hold back words, that could
breath new life into me.
I'd  want to walk in your shoes and undo,
the doings of your past,
easing your mind,  your heart, your  soul,
allowing them to let me in
and offer you my bouquet of memories.

I'd want to be carried away in dreams,
yours, mine, where love can endure,
where distance and time no longer exist,
where tears evaporate into happiness
and there are no goodbyes.
I touch the past, and see no todays,
without the dreams of tomorrow.

I loved you yesterday, love you today and
dream of loving you, somewhere into tomorrow.

~Wynter

It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."

Love today, tomorrow, and in each indefinite hour...sounds like a plan, to me!
Enjoyable reading, for sure!

*sigh* wonderfully romantic and a perfect read to start the day. To love someone into tomorrow....*sigh* perfect. I love it.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Thank you, all I have greatly appreciated the time spent here...a wonderful learning experience among many fine writers.

Wynter,
When you wish upon a star, you have to take a number or so it would seem. I'm sure your wishes will be granted, bless you. Enjoyed the poem.
