His Love

His love is like a soft warm breeze
on a summers day
drifting endlessly among the trees,
their branches softly sway.
~*~
His love is like a mountain
so high up in the shy
where man can only wonder
and birds never fear to fly.
~*~
His love is like a mighty storm
that rages in the night
the lightning and the thunderbolts
against a dark, dark sky.
~*~
His love is as gentle
as a butterflys wings
brushing softly on your cheek,
and gently flies away, for others do they seek.
~*~
His love is as peaceful
as a summer rain shower
soft and tender droplets upon my face
or upon a beautiful flower.
~*~
His love has so many facets
like a diamond sparkling in the light,
a love that's everlasting and free,
a love that could only be ment for me.

Marie!! This was so beautifully written...the images you've penned are wonderful, like the swaying tree branches!
Hold onto his love : ) If he knows what's good for him he will never fly away!
