And just for a moment I went back in time
I traveled to a simpler place, another world
When I was still yours and you were still mine--

We truly are just the best of friends
But sometimes I wonder
Why did we end??--

I have another now and I do love her
I do love her very much
But sometimes I miss you
And the friendship of your touch

Life sure is crazy
What with all its ups and downs

Other times its made of pain and empty frowns

You're still my best friend
