            Searching

Endlessly, fearlessly, searching
For what I’m seldom shown.

Endlessly, faithfully
On the edge of a story often told.

Fearlessly, searching all about
For the answers I have always known.

Searching, breathlessly
For the truth I have seldom shown.

Restlessly, listening with a glow
For bits and pieces of a puzzle I solved long ago.

Desperately, seeking to grow
On and on, my heart needs to know.

Words, wonders, ways
I have looked at the hearts of all I know.

Seasons upon seasons
I have searched all, imploring reasons.

Slumber of mind teases me so
Just when I gain comfort and grow.

Endlessly, fearlessly, searching
On a journey I began Ions ago.

Loving, leisurely giving
What it takes that I know.

Tease me, tenderly please me
By  reflecting on all I have been shown.

My heart having questions without answers
Only cold facts to use what I know.

Grow, growing still
On a endless Journey with little skill.

Do not fear going forward slowly,
Fear only standing still.

I can relate to this, Dan.  Well written, and I especially like the last 2 lines -- your signature, right? -- which this poem defines.

Thank you Mark, yes,I have found that a person can be very intellgent but finding the wisdom to put that intellagence to work in there life comes very slowly.

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.

My favourite line of many good ones;

quote:
Slumber of mind teases me so
Just when I gain comfort and grow

Well done

Mark, Thank you for your comments, Agreed, my poem and my signiture mean one should never give up. No matter how slow the going gets the person must keep going.
