Lord,
I come to you on this sunny Sunday morning
With heavy heart filled with loss and mourning
I pray to you for the souls that were forced to move on
Heavenly father guide them gently on
Lord, your perfect plan seems kind of bent out of shape to me
But I complete faith in thee
I know too that what is going on in this world has been foretold
In the Bible, in the books of old
Lord I ask you to ease the pain and suffering of those who lost family
In the tragedy dealt from a man with a heart dead and cold
Lord I ask you to guide the hands of our powers to be
Give them the judgment of the heavens so that your path they see
Lord, I come to you in thanks also
For giving the ones that have put everything in their lives on hold
For giving them the strength to work as each new day unfolds
Thank you for this bright and sunny Sunday morning
Amen

icyheart
