when I look inside myself
I find the love I have for you
it’s a love that I thought
I would never find again
a love that speaks like the
plaintive ebony voice of a clarinet
mellow and haunting one moment
tender and flowing the next
in the lower notes warm and deep
in the higher notes avian and flying
to the stars on wings of life

a voice that can only be heard by you
a melody that has long been kept silent
but now yearns to let go again
to sing only for you Emeraude
in a language that not even the masters themselves
could have spoken in or composed in their minds
such music was not meant for public performance
but only meant to be heard in the most
intimate of settings
the salon of the heart, the gallery of the spirit

this is the voice that I have for you Emeraude
a voice that you have not only inspired,
but a voice that you have given back to me
so that I might always be your song
your song of life
your song of love
only for you my Emeraude
only for you

Wow, Sven, this is definately a keeper, but, then again, I'm sure you knew that I would love this!  What a clever, romantic write from your soul.     It's beautiful and it's making me swoony   lol!
