Who's Gonna Drive You Home?

Excuse me if I seem to be
ignoring you in any way.
Your passive behavior towards me
seems to be driving me away.

In the beginning we shared
many a romantic dance
but now I don't think
your heart is in it
and me and you don't
stand a chance.

One of the many times Neil Young quit the C,S,N & Y band he simply left this note:

"You ever notice that things that start out on an impulse end the same way?" And he was gone.

That's what this reminded me of. If it ain't there, ya can't fake it.   Nice write, m'friend.

It's so difficult when the excitement of romance turns into passivity ... you've captured this sadness well James. Nicely done.

Best wishes,
/Kit
