The Shores of Alone

Through doors of time and destiny
I swear one day his face I'll see
and when he finally reaches me
I'll know the feel of truly free.

Neither star nor clouds shall hide him
nor the shadows of moon-less dim
not even harshness of fates' whim
shall keep me back from where I've been.

Doors harshly closed, slammed in my face
I peek through slats to find my place
surely I'll find at least a trace
of he who loves me, though displaced.

Another place in time he lives
waits to remove the blocks within
If only we could push through sieves
true life and love we have to give..

(just another little fantasy..)

Sandra,
Yes, if only we could open the doors to time. If you find that key, let me know...

Sandra, this is definitely one of your best.  I sense that Inspiration is leading you to such doors...

Doors closed
would open someday
as your words
guide you to
your way

A very well done piece Sandra.......quite lovely......and you'd find the keys hopefully soon...

Thank you

I never found the door to be locked! when I first opened it, I pushed when I should have pulled.  ah ha it opens inwards! Seriously the door of the heart is not locked where you need a key, just dream.
wonderful writing...wpwpoet
