For Summer, born on the first day of...

Girl,
Your smile
blazes 'cross my heart
like SUMMER's august
deep and hot
burning my eyes happy
turnin' my smile on so
I can't shut it off
You're almond shaped eyes,
large & brown
dance brandy/amber
two butterflies invitin'
& they go a chasin'
but never catchin'
you know what you be doin'
Your skin, carmel smooth
reminds me of latte
& must be as tasty
for I've seen'em beggin'
but you just smile
that beguile
carryin' on til dawn
Girl,
Your love swarms
around me warm
like a forever quilt
filled with soft down
it's all around,
me, you, ours, we
family, just shines
Ms. Sunkissed's daughter
whenever you smile...

this is great Tier. . .

I love the flow of it all. . . right from the first "Girl. . ." all the way to the end. . .

I was wondering about this:
quote:
You're almond shaped eyes,
large & brown

and was wondering if you hadn't meant "your" here. . . but, as I read it again, it could also be read to say that Summer is almond shaped eyes, large & brown. . . so. . . leave it. . . it works both ways. . .

Beautiful. . .
