This poem is about a very speacil person in my life, and I know I have given her so much gratitude in my poetry; but I thought I would share the one that is speacil to me.... When the morning sun breaks through the window... It will slowly open my eyes. Thats not what gets me up everyday. You see, there is a picture propped up on my desk. Sitting in the middle...to the left of my poetry and the right of my angel. A picture of a beautiful girl smiling at me. This person is the reason I am alive evryday of my life. She is my heart,my soul,and who I Love the most. Showing me the light of anyday. I wake each morning knowing I'll be able to talk to her. Keeping me here by showing the Love in her heart. Giving me a reason for one more day... Dedicated to: Bethany, I'll Love you till the end of all eternity.... |

This was really sweet. I liked the first part where you said the sun shines through etc etc...but thats not what woke you up. Very sweet. That girls lucky to have someone that thinks so highly of her. It must be nice to have. |

that's sweet. I really liked this poem. I write for this guy named Justin (I'm sure you care) and I carry his picture in my purse that I take w/ me everywhere, just so that when I'm somewhere and he's not there w/ me, I can take it out and look at it, and he can be there too. He didn't get to come to my 8th grade graduation, but I took his picture and had it sitting next to me through the whole thing and it was like he was there. I know, I'm weird.  Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself. That's what I live by. |

Well done here! Completely sweet poem! I know how it is to feel this for somebody. I enjoyed the poem very much and look forward to more of your work.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Wow.. this was very well written! Vaguely familiar feelings to me... I really liked the first stanza. The part about the sun's not what wakes you up. Very nice work! --Marie You think yourself a failure, but perhaps the biggest loss is winning. |
