You gave me wings
Because I wanted to fly.
You held my heart
As it finished it’s cry.
You took my hand
When I needed a guide.
You gave me hope;
In you I’d confide.
You caressed my face
And wiped my last tear.
You held me so close
And banished my fear.
You’re by my side
Both day and night.
You took my hand
And still hold it tight.
I wanted to love
And you showed me how.
You’re here to stay;
My search is over now.

But I used to wonder,
How did we come to be?
Why is it that
You’re here… with me?
We talked it out
And we’re now quite sure
Just what joined us
And made past pain blur…
Our paths crossed
Time and time again.
It was always there—
A strong connection.
And one July day,
Right out of the blue,
Fate gave me direction--
It led me to you.
A fortunate accident—
It was serendipity,
The superior force
That brought you to me.

actually, I even consider this one of your better ones

that was such a great poem!!!! it flowed together so well....i loved the whole meaning and oohhh its just so great!!! keep it up!!!!

Hey Sara! You may like mine but this masterpiece of yours is absolutely beautiful! It's so sweet! I'm very happy you're happy because when you're not happy I fear for loss of lives or worse! lol so smile because you've obviously got lots of fans!

I thought you did really well on this one. I really liked this sara. The whole poem is just great. VERY well written
