The Devil and Me The devil's got a place for me in his heart life and love keeps us so far apart Life and love yes they're rollin' Holyman he said beat you down and steal your wallet So let's hear it for the man he speaks the truth My girl she a colorless rainbow my friend says fool with a soul she's got to go life and love my friend illusion illusion so let's hear it for me you heard? I speak the truth We lived on him in the city of angels I search the fields looking for my rainbow girl he wanted to sing la la la la na na na na I sang for life and love he frowned on me Said to let me be he did Nobody ever needed him Now he roams the streets singing his demon song snaking la la la la na na na na you break once you break twice i laugh and carry on la la la la out on those streets again... ----------------------- It was hard for me to pick a poem i could use for the 300th(that explains my absence). So I decided to use one of my first that I never submitted before. Hope it lives up to the number. "and Death i think is no paranthesis"-e.e. cummings |

Fozzy, first off...congrats on the 300th! Now, the poem was quite interesting. Very well done, but not your best. Still, it was a very good poem. It's always good seeing your mind on the boards here.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
