Virginia Salter

I said that I was “user friendly”
and gave the wrong imply
When I learned it was “computer friendly”
I thought that I would die

So please don’t try to use me
for I would surely balk
As it would cause most others
to about me often talk

Yes, they might talk, and talk
until my face was red
With words so erroneous
because o’ what I shoulda said

‘N’ gossip is a thing
I really do abhor
it taints the saints and good-uns
making living quite a chore

That sounds so familiar, I've could said that too you know. Always mixing up things.

I do love your work, it's poetry with a giggle and without humour life will be stonedead.

Thanks for your giggle contributions, I need those, makes one relevate (if that's the right word)

Thanks, all!  If you like giggles, I think you'll find some more if you scroll down and find my "First Kiss of Summer."  I wrote it last year, too, but last Saturday, I had my first razzle dazzle berry of 2001.

I liked it. Once in a while, we just have to giggle.
