Listening to every heart

In the Blue

it is true, then ~

I fit my design
and sign
and shall not resign
these facts to fate
but revel in
the unveiling of
blueness

that hottest part
of the fire

not seen for the reds
yellows nor
even for whitest
part

that bit of blue that comes
from within the flame

that which becomes the
passionate, most intense
emotion
leaving embers
of belief
behind

would you?

could you reach in
to touch the blue
as it is unveiled
to you?

taught as a child that
fire burns

and seeing only that
which one
sees,
flesh, bone,
desire?

would then come the fire?

would you revel in the
unveil of the
blue?

can you stare at the flame
and go away
without the
imprint
still on your mind
behind your eyes

feeling the warm?

in the blue, then,
that is where
I reside

look carefully…

I am there….

The blue is the most passionate part of the fire, the core of all there is. Someday you may ask and I will say about the keeper of the flames, for I understand what you say well, and with such feeling...gentle smile

OH my....you wrote a moth poem...
YOU KNOW THAT THIS ONE LIKES ME...
AND SHALL FOLLOW ME HOME...
or perhaps...in this case...I shall follow it...as all moths do...

(moth jokes aside...this is awesome)

she said I dont know why you ever would lie to me
like I'm a little untrusting when I think that the truth is gonna hurt ya

Sunshine,

It is well known that passion burns.  You've described it well and in such an imaginative way.  Thank you for this.

Karilea,

This is so wonderfully written and so very inspiring ...

See what you did to me...
-----------------------
a candle burns
in soft flames
as if a vertical eye
is winking,
embraced by
a friendly welcome

the blue is the deepest -
its passionate eyeball
while the outer red
is the fantasy - unveiled --
the eye lashes
like in carnival scenes
and the flicker seen
is the glimpse of joy
a samba dance of the soul

and my eye
admires this other eye
spirited and gazing,
leisured, yet with the fullest
inviting glances
to be touched
felt, watched,
searched, observed,
with the curiousity
of a child

and the image is registered
and photographed
within the blue pages of
my memory cells
in the within of recollect,
eye to eye

a sight unfolded
------------------

once again, thanks a lot for your poetry...

regards,
sudhir

Very nicely said...

it is the essence...the apex of the element which best describes the intensity which can truly not be described...

enjoyed the read and the thoughts...

Blue ... a color usually chosen to convey sadness.  You use it to describe passion.  Could sadness be a passion ... or ... could passion be a sadness?

and can evoke so many thoughts ......
