My time,
wistful like,
draws on my wishes.
My time demands
some real closure
from my wandering thoughts.

I think again
for that's what I do
when that's where I've been.
My wishes rise in fervor
at the questions they cost.
I welcome the change.

My life a motion fanfare
brings to me reality pain
waiting for a purpose.
My steps greet the world.
I walk within the boundaries,
where the normal scores.

And evermore
walks those streets
from job to home
kissing the day good-bye
to resting with the window tube
where all the sports scores are on.

I slide into passions
mind open, pen ready
to create the wishes fashion.
And there lives my muse
all juice ready fed,
just waiting with a murmuring.

There are classics always using
the wrenches of destiny once silent read,
for each lost muse to write and speak,
the chance again to make a mark.
No worse for the poet's miracle
to lie away from the desire within.

Still I, a patron worldly wise
who kisses hearts in poetdom,
live for the words that dramatize
those notes of tender sweet tokens
spoken so honestly
from everything.

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

Loved the whole thing, but especially this verse, this is a very deep write Et, with lots of meat and I enjoyed it very much. In my library it goes. Thank you.

ETHome~
This is just wonderfully done.
It is such a joy to share the thoughts of a poet
with other poets, each of us gathering ...
