from the crease of dawn she sprang splashing feet in shallow puddles wearing springtime yellow she dances until her face turns into daylight When I return home she greets me with a crushing hug and a kiss her smiles lighting up the evening like a million swirling fireflies this is my daughter she completes my life A real man |
