Sitting here with her head affixed in the direction of the sun,
how she longs for the waves of the wind on her cheek.
Reaching now,
the princess finds her Guardian again,
and smiles..
and smiles..
This is simplicity,
that needs no pondering.
and she reaches for the Guardian,
resting her cheek in his knowing hands.
The elder sir sits and asks nothing,
but for her to comfort her heart,
near a fire that does not need to consume,
in order to keep burning.

Don't we all need  such a fire that keeps us warm but doesn't consume us....

I loved it..........

Thank you

I enjoyed reading about the "Guardian" very, very much.  It had a neat feel to it, the entire piece.
