Nothing

I float, detached, thro' the chilling night
the faintest figure composed of light
dispatch'd from Nature
a phantom to wander
very seldom distinguished by sight

Upon such dripping hours, so dark-so late,
into bowers new or old penetrate,
where souls dreaming sleep
with my vantage seep
streaming in waters under icey fate

Only Sometimes can I gather glow
enough to give perceiveable show
and some will see me there
for a moment aware,
but aye I'm nought again come morrow

That was something, indeed.
