Between dusk and dawn
weather constantly changes
bathes mountain with sun
delighted I felt such joy
all day I wandered the beach

How glad I lost me
among those colors and reed
I swept them aside
with my bare hands cattails fell
my mind stopped efforts
words content to languish

I loved the feel of the cattails falling to ground and could feel them sliding through my hands.  You do have a way with words, and I agree with Interloper, keep them coming.

Excellent construction....

yes, sometimes thoughts and words are not necessary...just the feel of being...

What lovely structure for such serene images.
Greatly enjoyed.

Thank you all for reading and commenting. The piece was filled with piece as was the day. Hopefully, my cyber pen continues its flow. Shalom
