thought I'd try combining 5 cinquains into one poem. darkness... I pass the time counting the cricket chirps and heartbeats that prepare for your footsteps shadows across the walls move ever so slightly to the golden touch of the pale moonlight whispers slip past my lips hoping to lure you here with the sweet music of speaking your name numbers changing slowly in luminescent green roll away the night I spend here alone footsteps don't stop the chirps and my excited heart beats slower as I seek sleep... darkness [This message has been edited by Packratmike (edited 04-01-2001).] |

Mike, This is beautiful, well crafted and simply a delight to read. Great theme. No need to sink here. Thanks for sending me to this one. A quintuple homerun!!! Panne |

Sink..NO SIR! Although I have no knowledge yet of what kind of poem this is, I do know that I love what I do understand about it. Its beautiful images, thoughts, and overall deliciousness. Well done as far as my own knowledge sees. We're sorry..this heart has been d-i-s-c-o-n-n-e-c-t-e-d. Should you like to hold the line we'll be glad to reconnect you.. |
