~*~ Dreamscape ~*~~*~ You whisper on my pillow. Set the stage my love. We shall be the only players. Mind’s eye suddenly drifts. Heart flutters in anticipation, As the palm fans my desires. Ebony solitude, tiara adorned sky. Love's promise returns, On the gentle whisper, Of an evening’s breeze. Revival of romantic nights. Stealing passion’s promise. All reality abandoned. Soon encased in an embrace. Minds hum a sweet meadow song. Drifting to enchanted ecstasy. Senses soaked, Freesia-scented night. Reveling in a moonlit escapade, Blinded by purple passion. I beg you my love, Stroke my heart with a feather. Softly sighing senses, Yearnings, desires fed. Beautiful melodies. Unearthly sounds envelope. Sweet, gentle touches savor. Soul caressed tenderly. Heartbeats in sync. Acting out desires, Bodies wasted, zenith reached. Unwillingly eyes now open. Magic dust rubbed away. Alone. Empty stage. Sun permeates my soul, And I whisper, Tonight my love. Dreamscape awaits. ~*~ Art~*Catching the Sun*~ Steve Hanks - www.world-web-art ~*~ Mysteria ~*~ © Copyright 2001 All Rights Reserved ~*~A poet is someone who reads more than they write ~*~ [This message has been edited by Mysteria (edited 03-30-2001).] |

You are on a roll with these softly gentle excursions into sensual peace. Good job, and as usual perfect music and graphics to set the mood. "I am not now that which I have been." |

Oh my I am blushing! Thank you all for enjoying this: ~ James Michael - thank you kind sir. ~ Melissa Honeybee - I kind of remember this stuff, but barely - lol, thanks for your lovely comment. ~ Alwye - thank you for saying it contained softness, as this was what I wanted to do. Bless your heart, and thank you. I wish I too lived in a stray sunbeam, how lovely. ~ Mr. Balladeer I feel honored you even read it, let alone let me a nice word - your work is awesome, so if I may this one time I shall wallow in your words! |

This may possibly be my all time favorite poem you've written. Such peace and harmony to your words, music that embraced each line and the picture graphic used worth a thousand words. Exceptionally brilliant poem, Sharon. I love when your muse writes this way, it makes me feel happy somehow. I hope you are proud of this masterpiece, I am. So soft and sweet. You sure know how to set the mood my friend!! Well done. Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
