Untwisting the truth

funny how things get twisted behind closed doors
keeping secrets that are only yours
and how you lessen all your lies
to live a life behind a thin desquise
soon all your secrets will be revealed
coming from places long been sealed
are you truly who you say
a time will come when threads will fray
finding things locked within the proof
of what are lies and what is the truth

Things hidden certainly have a way of surfacing. Best not to keep most things "secret". Enjoyed the ease of your rhyme and rhythm.

I've read this several times, 1slick_lady, and it seems to 'ear better each time.  Rather well done.
