my eyes look with distanced predicament staring with stark visionary sight motionless watching motion pictures a thriller movie without a share of thrill the television blares through with the clowns trying their best to get me grinning from cheek to cheek while the sub-titles blaze their way by inscribing texts from spoken voices as a million shiny dots rush past my head an infinite purple haze, it seems! I have these wild staring eyes that gaze at stars in a search for cows that graze in expansive meadows of cosmic dusty sands! that's when rocket science collides with a probabilistic game of chance "russian roulette", anyone? maybe not! in a strange case of my sight doing the seeing of thinking this existence seems a mirage of open-ended shadows split dreams spilt emotions garbed sorrows garbled thoughts the cows are now mooing as if signalling satisfaction and "was it tasty?" my eyes seem to ask endlessly questioning looking at empty spaces in the sky finding twinkling strangers shining merrily, with the farm animals singing contented "such a simple life, thought for food - food for thought!" bullets whiz the bad guy is hurt and I am back to earth as the movie culminates fading into the final scenes I feel sharp pain of hurt perhaps inferring, I was the bad guy I see things moving still even after the curtains are drawn and the movie is beyond its end "a new beginning", the sub-title spoke as if holding a particular message for me the me in I appears to be a complicated entity beyond grasp as I try to hold on to my dreams as I try hard to relive my memories as I fight my tears and fears but, I find a lacking in me to find the strength beyond strength needed to get over the turmoil to cast away the pain to make my urge vanish after all, I have this compelling urge to fly but, I have nowhere to fly to, and no one to fly with the skies are blanketed now the cows have gone home to sleep the cosmic birds have stopped chirping and distant sky disappears as my closer skies are clouded the farther and nearer meanings seem lost without a trace, in the spur of a moment and there is nobody home there is no one to talk to there is no one to smile at there is no one home except this nobody here... '!' Title inspired by the song "Nobody home" by Pink Floyd (written by Roger Waters) P.S. I am sorry about the length and the sad content too! Thanks for reading.
