Listening to every heart

0 posted 2001-05-09 09:38 PM

            Listening

            I heard my own
                  heart
                       in the whisper
                                      of another’s dream…

            a caring
                  rising above
                       common clouds
                                      of murmuring hope

            taking up
                  with feathered wing
                       to the sun’s beams
                                     an..ti..ci..pa..tion….

            slowly, on lips parched
                  of a bona fide desire,
                       finding a stream’s
                                      release

            a surcease
                  of suffering, the
                       want,
                                      now long gone

            in one’s eyes…

                  to realize…

                       with no surprise…

                                      that

I heard my own
heart
in the whisper
of another’s dream…

I heard my own
heart
in the whisper
of another’s dream…
======================

and it resonates back...in pure poetry...
Sun this is lovely...
in both intend and presentation
well done potess of the sun

"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold." ...
"So dawn goes down to day,
Nothing gold can stay."

I heard my own heart in the whisper of anothers dream, I wish I'd written this line it says so much about the inspiration of art, poetry, music, anything that inspires us to be better than we are. Wonderful poem Sunshine, and superb line... is it for sale.

Regards,
Olias.

JanetMarie - intent and presentation is a poem, is it not?....thank you little one...

Olias...never for sale...not when one finds a compliment as pure as yours...you may use it wherever, whenever, only give the author her due...that is all...

Tier, indeed, romance, in simple form...

'Deer, thank you Sir...a light touch is all that I can offer...to my poetry...

I found that somehow very "warming", so tender Karilea, but then I remembered who wrote it!

Karilea~
Just lovely ...
You know, of course, that I'd find it softly rendered.
Thank you.

Oh - most strange - to read thoughts expressing thoughts like deja vu - recalling the lyric - "Where or When"  - this is very beautiful - and for me - most appropriate.

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk in the room...
