Scandalous Trappings

Her colors, new shades of pastel
an aura lingering in soft appeal
though intricately woven about her
serpentine, meandrous...
charm released from a wizard's bottle,
a fragrance born from the blood of trophies.

Unrivaled in conquest, vainly parading,
scantily attired...
she sifted through the crowd, like wisps of
smoke, tantalizing her prey with sly glances,
and slithering smiles.
The delicate form of her fingers, moist by
the beads of her flute...slid the length of its stem,
in hypnotizing fashion, she stilled every eye upon her.

The slight brush of her chestnut tresses, soft persuasion
upon a man's unsuspecting skin, moving through the crowd
a ricochet of panting hearts...one, then another...
she left them silent by her allure.

Scandalous trappings, her web now sinfully laid...
the clock, but a beat to measure the sway of time
as her long-legged frame swayed to the tones of
urban blues...a simple matter of moments, and another
heart would bleed.

Coal,
this is so fantastically written.

charm released from a wizard's bottle,
a fragrance born from the blood of trophies.

I love this line

May your dreams always dance to the rhythm of a lover's heartbeat...

Coal~
Oh, I like what you've done with this piece.

'intricately woven about her
serpentine, meandrous...
charm released from a wizard's bottle,
a fragrance born from the blood of trophies.'

meandrous ... I LIKE that !
