Resurrection hits my eyes, what does it mean to me
Easter eggs and Easter buns are sometimes all I see
Suddenly it hits me we're celebrating conquered death
Until the day of judgement, the thought takes away my breath
Readily I look to God to see his smiling face
Rushing now I cling to hold the wonder of his grace
Everyone is smiling in joy that Jesus rose again
Coming back to claim us promise given then to men
Trust in Jesus as saviour, he will not steer you wrong
In the Easter morning, may your heart be filled with song
Over and once, again the promise is fulfilled
Never, ever doubt the power and fears will all be stilled
