Tenderly in his Shame She wanders thru an endless sea of words hidden deep within a soul of unclearity. Dancing upon the black water with daemons that devour the threads of her inner matter as she strokes their egos with her cold touch. Escaping into lands of hidden lust. Holding tight to Insanity's hands as she spirals down with inconceivable trust. Drowning in wasted words she whispers to her salvation, calling him by his only name, Darkness, As he engulfs her body tenderly in his shame. "There is an alter ego which |

Ali I can relate to this poem as I suffered depression which was the worst time of my life, feeling helpless, smothered by the cloak of darkness and stuck down a hole that I couldn't get out of. Fortunately, I climbed out but there are so many others who just can't and my heart bleeds for those people. I have written a couple of poems about depression also. Take care......Sue Suetang |
