My heart bleeds blood bright red
As echoes of the words you’ve said
Reverberate through my distraught mind
Leaving me emotionally in a bind

My heart bleeds warm and wet
With the weight of sheer regret
I didn’t even get the chance
To give more than a passing glance

My heart bleeds in streams
Where nothing is as it seems
Like a river flowing out
While inside I scream and shout

My heart bleeds deep within
While on your face you wear a grin
Evil’s scent permeates the air
Filling me with great despair

My heart bleeds as it beats
Silently my mind retreats
Hiding in the shadow dark
Praying that you’ll miss your mark

My heart bleeds in buckets too
Waiting to be destroyed by you
It's no longer fight for life
Succumbing to toil and strife

My heart bleeds on and on
Until the pain of you is gone
Soaking in the anger’s grave
Spilling the blood that you crave

All writing comes
by the grace of God.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Yes sometimes that pain lingers for a very long time...until we are ready and willing to let go...James

~James is right,...and what he's said is something I myself should remember. Jenn,...this was truly a write filled with darkness and pain, in one sense I have to say that I don't like to see such hurt come from you, but in another, it's good because it's being released yes? Very well expressed, and you just keep on keeping, making your time the way the _you_ want it. *Peace gurly, sending sunshine.

Your heart, my dear, bleeds when it breaks
we hurt, we cry, we feel, we shake
But blood holds life, it makes us live
'keeps our hearts warm so we can give
Your heart holds not just blood alone
you see, your heart is too, Loves' home
And when we lose Love suddenly
it leaves a hole that has to bleed
A waste to us, or so it seems
but when you're cut, blood keeps it clean
And though it hurts, it only helps
to cleanse of all the pain thats felt
And as hearts heal they hum Loves' tune
because they know they soon will bloom
The scars are healed, no pain within
wanting, needing Love again

Hope this encourages some babe

Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer.

Wow! I have to admit this one supprised me at first. The pain lingers long, write it out, let it go, and find freedom in the release...take care my friend

Verve:  I think it's good to take a walk in the dark every now and then.  Thanks.

Albert:  Sorry you relate.  It's pretty dark for me.  Just helps to get it out sometimes.  Best of luck to you.

James:  You are very wise my friend.

SF:  I know you don't like to see this side of me, no one does really, but sometimes you just have to get it out to let it go.  I will keep on, always.  You know that.  Sunshine right back to ya!

ThUnDeRkYsS:  Thank you so much for the verse and encouragement sweetie.  You're the best!

Eagle:  Sorry to surprise you like that.  I guess this was a new pain and I just had to let it go.  Yes, there is much freedom to be found in release.  So much.  Thanks, Eddie.
