old aged and dying god forsake me yet another day
my closest christ blows me away in the wake of my indecision
the beauty always laying just beyond the grasp of my comprehension
procrastination presses on further with the angst of no conclusion

id turn my back on you but you left me long ago
i need less hope to sooth my depression
and expect nothing because i´ve lost my will for impressions
i fall into my void and enjoy the last eve of my recession

lost with nowhere to go you took me where i needed to be
the shadows dance blindly on the unbeaten path i was led to follow
awkward how every thing seems strangely fine when i feel so hollow
and after everything, to think your the one to save me... thats so shallow

Great work. I like how you realize what most do not realize. Here is a line where I see that.

d turn my back on you but you left me long ago

Awesine work. I shall look more for your work.

Loved the poem, Paul. Wonderful...meaningful... I loved the end. I know how that feels. You don't have to follow, Paul.  You're smart enough and strong enough to pull yourself through.

really enjoyed the read especially the above line.

"across the unfair divide
where black will never meet white
so read my token lips
as though they never exist"
