I thought my memories were dead
Never to resurface again
I thought my past had let go
Yet once more I've shown fear

A horrible nightmare forgotten
Only to be reborn anew
Another tragic tale lived
Just one more to my storybook

Cries muted by darkness
Tears drown with pain
Just a little more bitterness
Twords ones not to blame

Seering deeper than my deepest
Reaching for someone in desperate vain
Holding back unwanted happiness
Wishing for peace and ease

That's amazing... I actually write my own storybook of my life, I suppose. In a way. Every story I've written is some sort of interpretation of the real things I've inadvertantly put myself through. :P

Anyway, yes. Awesome poem.
