This is dedicated to my Mother and Father in Law on their Silver Wedding Anniversary ..... May they Live even more than thier life together .........

As soft and gentle, as pure and true,
As hard and subtle, as a crossword clue,
As crisp and keen, as tough and blue,
As life and love, tangoed through.

When the whispers of morning,
Twinkled the stars at night,
When the trenches in strolling,
Made the day so bright.

Through the time of pain,
Through the time of sorrow,
Your faith in sunshine,
Hushed the fear for tomorrow,

And together you stood,
Clutching the heights of pride,
And in each other you believed,
Gripping the oars in tides,

Passed the days and the nights,
As a husband and a wife,
And it was Love that scented time,
For the years, Twenty Five.

This a very beautifully written poem gift for your Mother and Father in law. Happy 25 th Anniversary to them. I just know their lives have been made richer having a daughter in law such as yourself.
