Hollow mornings
Lying still
Gray sky warnings
Fight my will
I cannot face
The world today
I'm out of place
I've lost my way
I sleep in vain
But do not heal
There will be pain
Waiting to feel
I wish for dreams
To let me be
They tear my seams
With memory
Until I wake
The pieces thrown
Together ache
I am alone

I don't believe I have seen you before... but I like this piece.  The shortness of each line makes a nice effect.
Good work.

Kevin, this was simply superb. Described feelings I've had many, many times. Keep posting the good stuff.

THe poem iteslef, amazing aswell. The simplicity of the syllables is wonderful and it flows so great. The theme was kick but Kevin, I know how it feels. I liked this one. One of my favs by you.

First I wish to say sublime poem!!!
And secondly i wish to say that no matter
what you may think you are not alone.
For you are apart of us all our "friends within a family" And i know personally
that family doesnt alway stick together,
but when that family is your friends....
Watch out because you never truly know
how many are there for you and care until
you ask for a little help. I hope everything will turn out quite alright. And if not
feel free to e-mail me , and i promise i wont leave you alone anylonger.

Wow.. what a happily morbid view of the mornings. But then again, I've always believed good morning to be an oxymoron.< !signature-->

Hey I hated mornings when all that came of them was hangovers...but a couple of weeks in the hospital will change all that. The sunrise is a beautiful thing...but as much as I hate to say it...I miss the hangover thing.     anyways, a simple, yet eloquent piece. My deepest envy goes to thee.   Thanks for sharing...hope to see more from you.
