written sweetly from my soul
etched across blue sky of olde...
a majesty of lines untold,
and yes, you are my only one.

every word is etched in gold
complicity of line, unfold
a roll of carpet, red in scroll
for majesty of self, undone...

and every day? a bell in toll,
reminder of a day grown cold
I pray that I will not grow old,
and ache for fingernail of fun...

watchful of the moon in full
the spell of sea, and her sweet pull,
pirouhette in dirtied tulle--
the dark of moon shivers the sun.

*the dark of moon shivers the sun.*

utterly utterly... oh hell, the whole stanza before it unfastens me.
Rich, melodic, and somehow tender (and by that I do not mean gentle or affectionate). Gorgeous -- and I do not use abuse the word -- describes this in and out.

Love and spirit to you. Be well.

Dear Serenity--

"watchful of the moon in full
the spell of sea, and her sweet pull,"--I love those lines.
Wonderful flow and imageries in this piece.  As always superb writing.

Written with the elegance that only you could pen.  Wonderful to read your works and the quality of your talent to share your thoughts so vividly.

Loved both the imagery and the rhyme scheme you used on this one. Great write, but I've come to expect nothing less from you
